These pups are better than chocolate!

These pups are playful, affectionate, smart and sometimes a little goofy! The litter is five beautiful girls, and we are thinking they are a Lab and Shepherd mix. Rolo and Carmello are black and tan, and Kit Kat, Twix, and Snickers are black and white.

The pups are friendly with everyone they meet including children but sometimes can act a bit hyper and jump out of excitement and potential adopters with little kids should keep this in mind. The pups are friendly with other dogs and may act a bit submissive at first but give them a little time and they are ready to play! They are interested in cats, in a respectful way. The pups are pretty quiet, but you might hear them watchdog bark.

Kit Kat’s foster mom says she is definitely a playful gal! She wants to know where you are going and will follow your every move. She loves pets and attention. She is very athletic and can climb fences.  She is adventurous and curious. She will hop in the car with the other dogs to go for a ride.

The pups are housetrained and are quiet and calm in the crate. They need some work with their leash skills, and she would love to go on a walk, run, or hike with you so they can get more practice! They are still puppies, and an obedience course is a must; it will help teach them good manners and commands, further socialization with other dogs and people, and will help build that very important bond between a dog and her human. A fenced yard would be ideal so Kit Kat could run and play safely, but if that's not available she'll need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area.
