Say Howdy to the Wrangler Pups!
Introducing Waylon! He is an adorable little guy who is looking for a forever home along his brother Willie and sister Reba (also available on SOS). These precious pups appear to be a Chihuahua mix. Potential adopters should keep in mind tiny-breed dogs are often not a good fit for households with multiple and/or young children.
They are playful with all people including older kids, and they love playing with their foster family’s teenage children, but we don’t know how they are with little kids. At first meeting they may act a bit shy and nervous but give them just a little time and these happy-go-lucky pups will be your new best friends! They are also shy around other dogs and are interested in cats and may bark at them indicating they want to play. They haven’t had much exposure to life in a household and adopters will need to keep this is mind and go slow, work on socialization, give them plenty of exercise, and provide training and structure as they transition to life in a forever home.
These little ones have started potty training and crate training and so far, so good! Next on their to-do list is leash training and think they will do great as they seem smart. They're eager to please, toy and treat motivated little squirts, so puppy training classes will be lots of fun! The Wrangler pups are pretty quiet, but you might hear them bark when playing. They love toys and are happy to chill with a ball when not playing with you!
Waylon would love to find a forever family that has lots of time and patience to raise a puppy properly, and who has lots of extra time for loving and cuddles. If you are looking for a puppy, Waylon, or one of his littermates may be perfect for you! Fill out an application today and let him know that you'd love to have him join your family!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
