This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
This Grease litter may only represent two of the gang from the movie, but they are guaranteed to make your summer nights (and days) full of fun. Our boy Kinickie is as handsome as his namesake, with black fur and white markings. These lab mixes are playful, even-tempered and affectionate. They get along with adults, kids, and other dogs. They have not been exposed to cats or small animals. They are curious when exposed to new places but settle quickly. They love romping with other dogs, wrestling, playing bitey-mouth and chase and enjoy squeaky and chew toys. They will need about 1 to 2 hours of activity daily and are happy to chill out at times. Kinickie is house trained, and crate and leash training are in progress. They will benefit from training but are intelligent and should catch on like greased lightning. Taking time to train will keep them safe, teach them self-control and help to make them hopelessly devoted to you! Medical Note: This dog is being treated/has been treated for demodectic mange, a non-contagious skin condition. The dog has responded well to this treatment and is ready for adoption, though may still have some bald patches and/or thin fur in places. Please note that demodex can flare up in any dog in times of stress (eg, transport, transition to a new home, change in food, etc). As such, the adopter is advised to discuss this condition and best next steps with their veterinarian. SOS recommends that dogs with a history of demodectic mange be kept on regular NexGard or Bravecto for flea/tick prevention for at least 3 months after adoption for adults or until 18 months of age for puppies.
