Looking for a pup to turn your house into your mojo dojo casa house? Ken may be the pup for you! He is a purebred Siberian Husky with a handsome gray and white coat who has been cohabitating with his sister Barbie (also available through SOS), other pups, cats, and kids. Like his namesake, Ken is playful, affectionate, intelligent, even-tempered, gentle, goofy, and eager to please. He is also food motivated (should make for some fun training!), loves the water, and is pretty quiet but may bark when he hears other dogs barking.
He can be shy with new people, dogs, places and experiences as he is more used to a shelter environment. A potential adopter will need to keep this in mind and go slow, work on socialization, give him plenty of exercise, and provide training and structure as he transitions to life in a forever home.
Ken loves (like LOVES) playing with toys and playing chase but is also happy chilling with his humans. He is quiet and clean in his crate and does well crated in the car. He is currently working on his house and leash training skills and will need an adopter who will commit to continue this training. We strongly recommend that all of
our puppies attend obedience training to learn commands, develop confidence, and socialize with other dogs.
Think Ken will be a great addition to your family? Fill out an application to let him know!
Ken's Story: Ken's mom and dad were surrendered to a high kill shelter, his mom pregnant at the time. Thankfully mom, dad, Barbie, and Ken were rescued and removed from the shelter.
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see

*Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
