Meet Tonga, a young, playful pup with a heart full of joy. His gentle nature and goofy antics are sure to bring a smile to your face. Tonga loves to play, whether it's a game of fetch or simply frolicking in the yard. He's also a quick learner, always eager to please and pick up new tricks. Despite his youthful energy, Tonga also has a sweet, tender side. He's always ready for a snuggle and a good belly rub.

Tonga is a well-rounded pup that has spent his life in a shelter and we thus don’t know how he will do in a household and a potential adopter will need to keep this in mind and go slow, work on socialization, give him plenty of exercise, and provide training and structure as he transitions from life in a shelter to life in a forever home. We don’t know if he is house trained, crate trained, or leash trained, but think he will pick up these important skills quickly as he seems very smart. Basic group training classes is recommended to help him learn commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you!

Tonga is a perfect blend of playfulness and gentleness. Adopting Tonga would not only give him a loving home but also provide you with a loyal and joyful companion. His unwavering love and playful spirit are sure to brighten your days.

An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
