Introducing the BabyAnimal litter! There are five cute girls - Kit, Cub, Piglet, Tadpole, and Fawn and two handsome boys – Joey and Colt. We are thinking these precious pups are a Dachshund mix. This litter is just adorable and ready to steal someone’s heart away!
They’re typical puppies with typical puppy behavior - playing, chewing, playing, jumping, playing...well, you get the picture! The pups are good with other dogs, are playful with children they have met, and are curious of kitties in a playful way. They haven’t mastered “big dog” skills yet, but are working on potty training and crate training. Learning to walk on leash has yet to begin. They each will need an adopter who has the time, energy, and patience to commit to continuing their education, and who has plenty of time for exercise and play - all those things that make raising a puppy a lot of work, but with the huge reward of an awesome canine companion.
Attending puppy obedience training is a must and will help solidify your pup’s social skills, boost his or her self-confidence, all while learning basic commands and having fun! If your heart is melting, fill out an application today for Piglet or one of her littermates!
BabyAnimal pup’s story: Just before Valentine's Day, a kind-hearted lady spotted Bunny, a very pregnant stray dog, braving the cold weather alone. She knew Bunny needed help; she could take her in from the cold but couldn’t keep her long term nor care for her future pups. That’s when she reached out to one of our southern rescue partners and they stepped in! Bunny was placed into a loving foster home, and just three days later, she gave birth to 7 bundles of joy.
Now, Bunny’s pups have grown into typical happy, playful, and loving little ones, each full of affection and personality. They’re ready to find forever families where they can spread love and smiles
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
