Age: 10-12 Months (as of 7/16/15)
Janna Hanna is approximately 10-12 months old and looks to be a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever mix. She has the best personality traits of each breed. She is your typical playful puppy, yet laid back and super cuddly. She loves to run and play, and as you can see from her pictures, she is doing very well with the "sit" command and walking on a leash. She is still a puppy, so basic training is key. She is great with other playful dogs and fine with respectful kids, but she does play rough and is a bit mouthy so might not be a good fit with younger children. She was rather afraid of the cats at the vets and she did not show any signs of aggression towards them. She loves the water and chasing toys. She thinks she should sleep in the bed with her foster parents, but she has reluctantly adapted very well to being crated at night. She currently weighs in at 45 pounds, but she could stand to gain a few pounds. Janna seems fully house trained, as she hasn't had any accidents in the house. Janna does tend to be a barker so apartment living is probably out. She was started on Bravecto a few weeks ago for Demodex, and already has had significant hair growth in just under two weeks. Janna was left behind by her family after their house burned down. The neighbors brought her to the shelter, and based on her appearance, she was marked for euthanasia. The rest is history. Janna Hanna is a total sweetheart and a big lap dog who deserves to have a loving family and never have to worry about being left behind again. Will her forever home be with you?
