Bam is a super laid back, handsome dude! He looks like a Boxer mix who is around 1-2 years old. The expression on his face says it all.... "Why am I still waiting? Where is my new home?" Bam is a sturdy, low maintenance kind of guy who just wants to be with people and would love to hang out with you. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people but he warms up quickly once you show him some kindness. He is a gentle soul, and loves attention and being with people. We are not sure how he is around children, as he has not lived with them but our guess is that he would do well with them. Bam is a sensitive soul and very gentle. He does not need harsh corrections, and responds well to "no" when he gets rambunctious around other dogs. He gets along well with other dogs, and provides appropriate parental corrections to younger pups. We think Bam would do well in a household with another dog to play with, help him feel comfortable and continue to lead him down the path of becoming a good canine citizen. Bam has had some basic obedience training - he knows "sit" and "paw." He is also leash trained - a perfect gentleman on a leash - and is crate trained. Bam has not lived in a home environment recently, so house training will need to be reinforced, but we are confident that Bam will catch on quickly - his is smart and just wants to please and be loved.
